Arkansas River Trail

The River Trail winds its way along both sides of the Arkansas River.  On the Little Rock side of the river, the trail is complete from Rebsamen Park Road to I-430.  From N. Little Rock the trail heads West from near the Alltel arena to Cook's Landing.  The "Big Dam Bridge" over the river connects the two trails.

A railroad bridge is undergoing renovation and will be a new pedestrian bridge near the President Clinton Museum and Park. The section from Rebsamen Park Road is next to be constructed.  Eventually, the trail will reach to Pinnacle Mountain State Park.

On the Little Rock Trails photo page, you will find a section of photos of the River Trail and a section of photos of the Big Dam Bridge.  The bridge has become a destination for Little Rock/N. Little Rock.  People and families picnic in parks near the bridge and walk/bike across the bridge.

Boyle Park

Just West of University Ave. and South of I-630 is Boyle Park.  The Park has mountain bike trails and paved walking/cycling trails. Here are a couple shots from the park's paved trails.
