The biggest news is that I bit the bullet and now have satellite internet - I don't have to wait to got to Panera Bread to post photos!

October I held my first photograpy show.  It was held at the opera house in Greenfield, IA.  I am working on a new photography web site - to sell my prints.  Watch for additional information.

Ride to Live

Cycling continues to be my life.  Last year I logged just over 2200 miles on my bicycles. My doctors are pleased with my recovery and current overall physical condition (lot better than before my health problems).

If you are interested, October 25th I hit the 3000 mile mark for the year.

New Photo Web Site

After giving away my photos for several years, I decided it was time to recoup some of my expenses. I have created a web site with my new photos.  On the web site you will find photos of events (Black Hills Fat Tire Festival, Bike Bash), races, bike rides (Xtreme Winterfest, CARP ride), and other special photos.

At that web site, you can view my photos and order an electronic copy.  You will need to register as a customer of mine.  Your copy will be sent to you via e-mail.

I will be working on a way you can get prints mailed to you.

Recent changes/additions to the site

The Winter of 09-10 has been bruttle.  Some of the photos I took around the house and commentary has been posted in the section of photos of Family, Friends and Home.

Published a new Facebook page - Tom Winfield Photography.  

My first photography show is history.  Watch for information about the show - eventually a page here on the web site.

Over Memorial Day Weekend I returned to Black Hills Far Tire Festival for the third year.  Photos from the festival are on my phote web site - http://win-photo.photoreflect.com. Time permitting, I will write a report of the event.  

Working on the photos from my trip to my Army Reunion.  Lots to do - 3 weeks on the road, some awesome bicycle riding, and beautuful scenery.  The short story can be found on my blog.   The report and photos are being add to this web site.  That is taking time, come back regularly to see what has been added.

Another of my efforts is as Webmaster for TrailsHaveOurRespect.org - out local dirt trail/mountain bike trail group.  As part of those duties, I started a Trails Blog to report trail conditions.

Finally, I agreed to take care of the Wabash Trace Nature Trail web site.  For now, I have just updating the accomodation and trail pass information.  Planning a major re-work of the web site this winter.

I enjoy taking pictures.  So you will see that much of the site is taken up with my photographs.

The Naugaranch site was created with WebExpress. While the software was easy to use, it had limitations, considering the number of photos I wanted to put in this website.  This website is created with WebEditor 5.5.
