Here's a look at my stable
of bikes. I am looking forward to trying: 1) The new 69er
(but not singlespeed)
bike 2) A dual suspension mountain bike 3) A road
or cyclocross bike. Now, how about a geared 69er with
dual suspension?
Update: At the BH Fat Tire Festival I
rode several dual suspension bikes. Checked out Trek Fuel
7, Gary Fisher 29er, a Giant, and a $7000 Specialized Stumpjumper.
For my current riding abilities, I preferred the Trek
Fuel 7. It was a sweet ride. Not ready go out and
buy a dual suspension bike, yet. But is sure doesn't hurt
test riding them!
Trek 4300
|
|

This in my mountain bike. I wanted a bike to ride the gravel roads, ride
on my trip to my Army reunion, and additional areas for riding. The first day
out, I really enjoyed the ride. I found the mountain bike trails by Lake
Manawa. Its a whole different ride. My reaction - Awesome! This
bike is my favorite ride. The wheel size and
gearing lets me get moving - good acceleration.

Trek 7200 FX
|
|

The 7200FX is a hybrid bicycle. The wheels are larger
(~29inch) and the tires are narrower, The handlebars are straight (like the
Navigator). The bike is much lighter and the rolling resistant is lower. The
last major change is the larger wheels and different gearing - it's a faster
bike. This bike is best when I'm riding the paved trails. |
Torker Unicycle
|
|

My new (May 07) steed is a Torker Unistar LX unicycle. Now, I have
problems riding on two wheels! The new wheel
was won in the BeerMuda Triangle raffle. There
are several guys looking to purchase it from me.
Don't think this cycle will be in the stable
for very long.

Trek Navigator 200
|
|

My Navigator 200 has a new home. A ham radio, cycling friend bought
it. Happy cycling, Dave.
