Since I built the US Army and Vietnam
page, I have been in contact with a few guys that
served in the same units I did. Some of them
were there at the same time, some were close friends.
For anyone that served with the 199th Light
Infantry Brigade, I strongly recommend the Redcatcher
site: www.redcatcher.org.
During most of my tour in 'Nam, my Chaplain and
I were assigned to the 2nd Battalion 3rd Infantry
- The Old Guard. These guys took me in a
made me feel as much at home as an outsider could.
Recently, I started chatting with guys from
Delta, 2nd/3rd. Great group and they have
once again made me feel at home. In June 2004
I attended the reunion of Echo, 2nd 3rd. This
was a great experience. More information and
photos are available on the E-2/3
Reunion pages. Their website
is: www.the-old-guard.org.
Webmasters of both these sites are doing a
great job.
On these pages, I'm posting additional photos
with more commentary. If you've made it to
page 2, you are probably interested in more than
a cursory view. If you can provide me with any additional
information or correct any errors I've made here,
please do so. I welcome your comments.
I believe the following pictures are some of
the guys I lived with when back at BMB. Can
anyone help put names to these faces?
